Oktoberfest
The annual Oktoberfest held last October 23, 2010 at the Golden Prince Hotel in Cebu City was a blast. The evening was filled with cultural insights to the most famous event in Germany. A German buffet was also laid out to feast upon. SIC Alumni were present to witness students and teachers perform German songs and a traditional German wedding dance.
Oktoberfest & Gedichte Abend
On October 3, 2009 Sprach Institut-Cebu hosted the annual celebration of the Oktoberfest together with another poetry night at the Royal Concourse. Students and teachers read their poetic compositions, presented a song or a dance number. A raffle draw was also held on this night. Congratulations to Grace Cortes for winning the A2 scholarship.
Oktoberfest, Gedichte Abend & Sprach Community
On October 18, 2008, Sprach Institut successfully hosted their annual celebration of the Oktoberfest together with another Gedichte Abend (poetry night). New and old students read poetic compositions. The launching of Sprach Community also took place during this occasion. The event was held at the Royal Concourse, Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City. Many students attended as well as guests from DED, GTZ and AUFTRAG.

On October 6, 2007, Sprach Institut Cebu hosted a little gathering of Deutschschüler, Lehrer und Freunde to celebrate the annual Oktoberfest with lots of Bier, Würstchen and tons of Gelächter with gute Musik to help give the new batches of students a feel of this German celebration.
